MCM committed to an aggressive project program to safeguard completion objectives and ensure works were delivered ahead of schedule and without incident.

Buildcorp were appointed as the principal contractor to undertake upgrade works to 44 Martin Place; a 12-storey heritage sandstone building home to Australia’s most notable banking, financial and legal firms.

Client Brief

To assist delivery of a large and complicated program of upgrade works within a tight timeframe by ensuring seamless navigation of the many logistical challenges typical of heritage building sites.

What We Delivered:

• 19,000L of structural repairs across 11 storeys including concrete remediation and strengthening

• A specialised crew of 28 expert craftsmen in their fields

• Seamless negotiation of heritage work fronts in coordination with other contractors and adept management of noise restriction challenges and structural concerns requiring temporary works and staging

• All works completed to a high standard with zero LTIs and one month ahead of schedule
