At its peak, the project employed more than 30 site personnel, including electrical trades, access crews, formwork carpenters, and specialist technicians.
Constructed in 1935, Ryde Bridge replaced the original vehicular punt that operated as a main crossing over the Parramatta River between Ryde and Rhodes.
Client Brief
To undertake concrete repairs, protective coatings and installation of a cathodic protection system to the original concrete substructure, carried out across multiple piers simultaneously without affecting the waterway below or the road and footpaths above
