Coastal Structures

MCM has an unequalled record in the delivery of technically challenging rehabilitation projects to tight budget and time constraints. We are, first and foremost, project managers with the systems, expertise and resources to undertake any difficult rehabilitation contract.

We have completed a wide variety of repair and protection projects on coastal structures such as lighthouses, dolphins and seawalls.

The types of work typically undertaken by MCM include: concrete repair, cathodic protection, protective coatings, crack injection, pile strengthening and protection and stonework repairs.

There is a variety of risks and restraints in such work, and a sound track record is essential if the work is to be done safely, reliably and on time.

For example, much of the work is carried out within the tidal range and may be well offshore, and the method of access needs to be secure and safe to use. In addition, our coastal environment is pristine and must be adequately protected against damage during the work.

Our knowledge of operating on a wide variety of coastal structures in a range of environments is invaluable in ensuring we can deliver challenging and significant projects to the client's requirements.

The sample projects on this page indicate the variety of coastal repair and protection contracts completed by MCM in different parts of Australia.
